BEAUTIFUL Senior {Reidland High School}

I've been missing for almost a month...and I can't believe it! My calendar indicates that this blog will be hoppin' in the weeks to come if I can keep up with everything on my plate!

Since my blog has been feeling neglected, I thought we needed a supersized post of a beautiful senior girl! This just happens to be a friend of ours and I couldn't wait to focus my camera on her. We met up on Monday evening to gorgeous light and a breezy evening. What could be better?

She had made fabulous clothes choices and I enjoyed traipsing all over town with her. Isn't she beautiful?

The next two are similar but STUNNING to me...I had to post both!

She was up for anything and this turned out to be a favorite!

A dress and location change = more beautiful images.

She has cheered for MANY years so we had to get a few in her uniform!

Some more of my favorites from the night....I am not good at picking one favorite so here are two more that caught my breath as I scrolled through to find a few for the blog.

It's so fun to capture someone I know already because I really get the chance to bring out their personality. This caring, sweet girl has so much going for her. I can't wait to see what she decides to do next!

Thanks again for trusting me with your senior photography!

Vintage and the Vineyard

I'm waiting on a few friends to arrive for lunch and catching up but I can't resist posting one image from my session this morning. This family has been precious to us for several years. We photographed their maternity session in March and the newborn session in May. Here we are at 3 months and I just love their home and land. Stephen has a vineyard on their property and the grapes are just gorgeous right now. We just HAD to go out and photograph this beauty in the vineyards that are just brimming with grapes. The outfit that she had worked so well with it and to me it has a vintage feel to it. I wish I could find a shirt my size in the fabric because I can't stop thinking about how perfect it was. If you ever need some local wine make sure to call them up.

Isn't this the sweetest thing ever????

A Few Favs

I've been working on this session and wanted to share a few more of my favorites. Despite a hot evening we are able to capture great images. Don't let the heat keep you from scheduling a session if you are thinking about needing to update your family portraits!

There is just something about this image that keeps me coming back. His eyes aren't open but that's part of the intrigue for me. He looks so happy and at peace and it makes me smile EVERYTIME I see it!

Love me a momma + son picture. Especially when we capture the relationship like the image below. I can just see the love oozing from these two. Makes my heart happy. :)

Melt my heart {Paducah Children Photography}

*****MAKE SURE YOU SCROLL DOWN TO READ THE OTHER TWO POSTS THAT WERE POSTED TONIGHT AS WELL! ******

This 3 year old little man MELTED my heart from the first snaps of my camera. A little shy at first but still willing to follow directions so well and just chat up a storm with me! We told stories, sang songs, and he even had to whisper he loved me. That's all it took...I was smitten with how precious he was!

His great attitude shows in his images too....I LOVE his little expressions!

This has GOT TO BE one of his looks! Is it mom? Am I right?

This was his serious face! Love it!

This became his favorite pose! We did it several times!

What a fun, HUMID, night!

Senior + Family {Lone Oak High School Senior Photography|

I can't believe it has been a week ago already that we met this great family on a Friday evening to capture some senior images and also a few sibling pictures. These guys got warmed up (literally and figuratively...it was HUMID) and we had a good time capturing some great family images for the mantle as well as documenting Braden's senior year.

The first part of the session was dedicated to the "kids" in the family!

Don't they all look awesome? They made our job so easy!

We grabbed a few of each sibling before we headed out to finish Braden's senior session....

She is stunning isn't she? Her dad and brothers better get ready...cause the boys will be calling!

And now for a few of Braden's senior session....

Love the guitar!

Can't forget his soccer attire....

And one of my favorites....

Thanks again for trusting me with your senior session! It was a pleasure!

I'll be in touch soon!

Sweet Girls

First let me say I am SOOO behind on blog posting! Summer is always one of our busiest time of the year and this year is no exception! We have been going nonstop since since early May.

This family has had to wait WAY to long to see their posts and I hate that! But it is definitely worth the wait!....

Isn't this precious?

Big sister has amazing blue eyes and is such a joy to photograph. This was her second time in front of my camera and the few minutes we spent together were well worth it!

Our main goal for the session was to document her new little sister. This momma decided to do the 4, 8, and 12 month session and so we were out to capture this little beauty at 4 months.

She was all smiles and made our job so easy!

I'll have your gallery ready soon!

Birthday Boy

I must celebrate a very special little man today. One year ago today he was welcomed into this world by his mom, dad, and big sister. We captured these images when he was just a few weeks old. I wish I was able to be celebrating with him in Oklahoma but unfortunately it didn't work out this time. This is one of those occasions that I hate living so far away without easy access to travel and unlimited funds! :)

Thankfully, I was able to spend several days with him, his mom and his sister a few weeks ago while helping my mom recover from surgery. We snuck away to the park one evening and had a quick session.

It's amazing how big he has gotten and how expressive he has become. He's drooling buckets as he works on more teeth but I love that about this age! He is so curious and wants to explore EVERYTHING! He loves to talk and this boy doesn't have any problem putting away food. From what I understand he is obsessed with golf clubs right now which I know makes his daddy happy.

It's amazing how much he looks like his sister at this age. I can't wait to watch his personality continue to develop as he grows up.

We are so blessed to have you Maddox and can't wait to watch you grow up! Uncle Mike and I love you and are thinking of you on your big birthday!
