Deecke Family

This shoot almost didn't happen.  First, I was out of town at funerals. Then we had to reschedule a few times because of scheduling conflicts, but tonight we braved the heat before dinner reservations to squeeze photos in before Nana and Papa go home to New Mexico.

This is a family that we have known since we moved here and consider good friends!  Thanks for asking us to be apart of this moment with you!  We enjoyed it!

I couldn't help but add these last three.  I grabbed these really quick right before they had to leave in order to get to dinner.  All three of them are so photogenic!

I started playing with textures and thought this looked so cool on her gorgeous picture!

Karmen

Okay, I want to take a minute to brag a little bit.  While I was in Pennsylvania last week my sister and I got up early one morning in order to capture a few images of my niece, Karmen.  I love this little girl...she cracks me up.  She has learned to growl and would do it all the time!  It is hilarious.  She also discovered spitting and loved it.  She has the best facial expressions! How can you resist this face?

It was so fun to get to play with her for almost a week.  She warms up very quick and loves to laugh.  If she sees another kid she lunges for them.  This made my little cousins very happy!

Thanks for looking!

Anna Lee, Eli, and Emma

Several weeks ago we met at downtown after having to reschedule for rain.  The kids were all dolled up in their matching outfits and they were sooo cute. Here a couple of quick ones that I liked.  I can't wait to show you the rest!

Bethany and Justin

Bethany and Justin were awesome to be with on Saturday. They are both originally from Paducah but live a few hours away right now because of jobs. They were in town for a baby shower and we felt honored that they made time to capture such a special moment in their life. We met EARLY before the sun got too hot, but it was already really HUMID!!! They were so photogenic and I think we all had a good time!

As you can see, they are so sweet together. I can really tell that they are in love and are excited to meet their son in a few weeks!

Bethany was a natural. She just seemed to know what to do! I love the glow she radiates in these images.

We walked around downtown and found several new spots. This is really close to the spot where they originally met 3+ years ago and where Justin proposed!

Such a tender moment......

Justin was great and was really photogenic. He felt a little left out of the solo shots so we snapped these at the end. I hope you got your ice cream! You definitely deserved it.

Thanks again to both of you! I can't wait to show you the rest.
