At the last minute on Saturday I was blessed to enjoy a beautiful afternoon with amazing light and a handsome little boy (with his mom and dad). Another of my amazing clients sent them my way and it was so fun to walk around with them. This first image is one of the first we took which told me it was going to be a good afternoon!
They dressed him perfectly for the session with different layers for different looks. Unfortunately the handsome little man had a few rough moments but nothing that a snack couldn't fix. Doesn't he just look adorable?
Once we returned to the choo choo all was right in his world. We found one that he could climb on and he was in little man heaven. We couldn't keep the smiles off his face!
Of course a little game of hide and seek works well too!
This is just PURE JOY. Plain and simple. I love watching kids and capturing their expression. So fun.
A Handsome Boy + Beautiful Light= Perfection
Thanks again for giving me the opportunity to get to know you guys and spend a little time capturing your precious boy!

4+1=5 {Paducah Maternity Photographer}
What a joy to spend an evening with our good friends that are so excited about welcoming a new blessing to their lives. They will soon be adding a precious little girl to the mix and I think everyone is excited. The boys are already taking care of their little sister and constantly asking questions and giving "her" kisses. This was such a fun session because we just worked to capture this sweet family interacting with one another. I love the giggles and tickles and the memories that these images will bring as these boys + their little sister grow up.
Both boys giving sister some lovin'.
There is no doubt she is DEARLY loved. I'm guessing she could make her appearance within the next few weeks.
This momma is just gorgeous. Her smile was easy and natural. She always ready to laugh and have a good time. I bet this little girl will be just like her.
See how easy going she is.....I texted her earlier in the day and said "bring finger paints" and she didn't even ask questions. She was all for having a little "art" time with the boys. It was the perfect thing to keep them interested at the end of the session and it made for terrific images!
Thanks again for allowing me the honor. I can't wait to meet this little one and watch her brothers dote on her. She will have the whole family wrapped around her little finger in no time!

Precious little girl - 9 months
This precious little girl has been in front of my camera several times in her short little life. I love that and have LOVED getting to see her little personality develop. She is a happy baby and always good natured. She is moving and will be walking in no time. Even during this session she really didn't want to have to keep sitting...I mean that's so boring! :)
Mom and dad let her stand and show off her skills.
Quite a little pensive face but still so sweet. The dark doors make her jacket just pop! Her jacket is so representative of spring. I'm sooo ready!
We had to put a little dress on her for a few more images. These little smocked dresses are so precious!
One last one for good measure. That little smile just makes me smile.
I can't believe she will be a year old in just a few short months...be on the watch out for that session!

Beautiful Weekend
A beautiful weekend calls for getting out and photographing families and I enjoyed getting to play and have a great time. This little guy brought his family from out of town and we started with natural light in my home and moved downtown for the remainder of the session to get a few family images and some of this sweet little man's big sister.
He is about six weeks old and didnt' want to miss a thing. Can you blame him? New places, sounds, smells. He had to keep an eye on things. But he was so good! I just loved getting to see all his sweet faces.
I'm not sure he was really asleep, probably just mid blink but I still love the peacefulness and his little hands.
Love those big eyes just staring back at me.
This sweet family was such a pleasure...laid back, easy going, just let me do my thing and we had a fantastic time. I think the little guy rounds out the family nicely!
Big sister was excited for her turn and she didn't disappoint. She was full of spunk and independence and I told her daddy he better watch out. She is going to have all the boy's calling before he knows it. I mean just look at these images!
Very little prompting and I almost gasped when I saw this...I just love her eyes!
This image grabs me...might be my favorite from the day. Her hair, eyes, smile. Love it!
Thanks again for allowing me the privilege of photographing your new family member. I can't wait to see how these kiddos grow up.
