Another One Year Old

I can't believe it. Another precious newborn that I have photographed over the last year is growing up. Today we did her One Year Session and I was in awe once again at how much they grow and change from the little baby that we are trying to get to sleep through that initial session. It was one of the first days we have had with sunshine and as long as you could stay out of the of wind it was pretty pleasurable. We really enjoyed our time walking around downtown with this sweet family. I have loved getting to know them and build a friendship over the last year.

I love little ones all bundled up. I think this is a fun way to do a session....they don't seem to mind it AT ALL. In fact, she was THRILLED to be outside again.


Something is classic about this black and white. Another classic one year old thing is for them to want to walk...not sit! We make the most of it and let them walk, walk, walk.


A quick snap around the tree. This image took my breath away as I was scrolling through them.


She loved the pink wall and getting to shed her coat and hat. Didn't bother her one bit...and the wind wasn't blowing her.

Snuggles with mommy. This princess is about to have a little brother so I thought she needed an image of just her and mommy.


There is no doubt that she ADORES her daddy. She wanted him to stay close all day. I loved it and thought it said volumes about the relationship they have. He is her hero and he adores her.


Thanks again for allowing me to have a peek into your family today. I can't wait to meet your newest addition. He is will be one blessed little boy to have an amazing mommy, daddy, and big sister!

Come On Spring....

The snow we have experienced has been beautiful but I'm ready to be done with it. I even went out to play in the snow and enjoyed taking all kinds of fun pictures. I meant to post them here but I have been enjoying my down time a little too much. I did post them on our adoption blog so if you would like to see them, you can find them here.

Tonight though I am excited for Spring to come so we can get back outdoors and start taking beautiful pictures again. Here is a little reminiscing of Spring images from last year.








I'm so ready for the color and warm temps. I'm ready to blog again with some of the great sessions that I already have lined up.
