Kev

I don't even know where to start with this one....you see Kev has been a part of our life since we moved here 5 years ago but even more so in the last 3-4 years. His mom is one of my bestest friends and so Kev has been around A LOT through the years. He is the closest to a little brother that I might have. I am so impressed with the man that he is becoming...he will do anything without too much complaining (except take Senior Pictures). He has a servants heart and is compassionate towards others. It's hard for me to imagine him away at college...I know it is hard for my husband to imagine that as well! His mom works tirelessly for our church so Kev has always been around the office. He and Mike often take breaks to play ball in the hallway or just goof off together. It's not gonna be the same when he heads off to college....

Despite his protest he came over one day and we captured some great images of him to document his senior year.

This is just one of several pictures that I will make sure come back to haunt him. :)

This is one of my favorites....

LOVE the fall trees...I'm really missing them already!

I wouldn't do this to many others....I promise....but I couldn't resist a little video to show how many times he "tried" to be difficult. We love him anyways! :)

Paducah Senior

Several weeks back we had the privilege of capturing senior pictures for one of our students at our church. We have watched this group of kiddos grow up since they were in eighth grade and it seems crazy to think that they will be graduating this year. It has been so fun to watch them mature and become adults that have big dreams and aspirations!

We are confident they will all succeed and feel honored to get to watch along the way!

We captured a variety of images and I couldn't be more pleased with the gallery. It was painstaking for me to try to narrow the gallery down that I presented to his mom and dad!

Hope you enjoy!

Senior {Lone Oak High School}

Senior boys are not typically known for their enthusiasm surrounding the idea of senior pictures....I'm sure they can think of a million things they would rather be doing. The fun part for me is making it something they can enjoy a little bit. Choosing a location or items that make it personal always seem to make the session more enjoyable for them. This boy's momma invited me to their home for this session.

We spent the morning in the AMAZING cool temps on their land getting some awesome images.

It was a joy to get to know this senior and hear about some of his hobbies and plans for the future.

We had to include their lab, Gunner, as he was feeling left out and wanted to be with us at all times!

This might be my FAVORITE!

Gorgeous light coming in....

It was hard to stop here in my preview images....but we better save a few for the gallery!

Thanks for having me out!

BEAUTIFUL Senior {Reidland High School}

I've been missing for almost a month...and I can't believe it! My calendar indicates that this blog will be hoppin' in the weeks to come if I can keep up with everything on my plate!

Since my blog has been feeling neglected, I thought we needed a supersized post of a beautiful senior girl! This just happens to be a friend of ours and I couldn't wait to focus my camera on her. We met up on Monday evening to gorgeous light and a breezy evening. What could be better?

She had made fabulous clothes choices and I enjoyed traipsing all over town with her. Isn't she beautiful?

The next two are similar but STUNNING to me...I had to post both!

She was up for anything and this turned out to be a favorite!

A dress and location change = more beautiful images.

She has cheered for MANY years so we had to get a few in her uniform!

Some more of my favorites from the night....I am not good at picking one favorite so here are two more that caught my breath as I scrolled through to find a few for the blog.

It's so fun to capture someone I know already because I really get the chance to bring out their personality. This caring, sweet girl has so much going for her. I can't wait to see what she decides to do next!

Thanks again for trusting me with your senior photography!

Senior + Family {Lone Oak High School Senior Photography|

I can't believe it has been a week ago already that we met this great family on a Friday evening to capture some senior images and also a few sibling pictures. These guys got warmed up (literally and figuratively...it was HUMID) and we had a good time capturing some great family images for the mantle as well as documenting Braden's senior year.

The first part of the session was dedicated to the "kids" in the family!

Don't they all look awesome? They made our job so easy!

We grabbed a few of each sibling before we headed out to finish Braden's senior session....

She is stunning isn't she? Her dad and brothers better get ready...cause the boys will be calling!

And now for a few of Braden's senior session....

Love the guitar!

Can't forget his soccer attire....

And one of my favorites....

Thanks again for trusting me with your senior session! It was a pleasure!

I'll be in touch soon!

BUSY, BUSY

I enjoyed my time with this senior. I had the privilege of taking his sister's engagement pictures and was honored to be asked to capture his senior session. We utilized the things he loves best...the family land for his session. I enjoyed working in a new environment. It's always fun and challenging.

Here's a few to tide you over. I should have the rest soon!

Tighlman Senior {Paducah Senior Photographer}

Whoever said that boys senior photography isn't as fun as girls was definitely wrong in this case. I enjoyed immensely creating great images for this senior from Paducah Tighlman. He was great at helping me scout good locations and communicating what he wanted from his images as well. We lost our daylight one day so we finished up with some great sun another day. I love both looks as it allowed us to use a variety of locations. If you know of a senior that wants something different than the standard images for their senior session, have them give us a call!

Senior: Paducah

A beautiful senior. A beautiful day. A beautiful location.

This is another repeat client and I couldn't be more happy to photograph her senior portraits. As a birthday present she spent the day getting pampered. I believe they started with a hair appointment and facial, followed by an appointment with a makeup artist to perfect her makeup for the day. The ending result is beautiful photographs! I think this is a fabulous ideas for senior girls to feel fabulous for their senior portraits! The look was soft and natural but stunning!

We used a new location and I loved coming up with new ideas. It's part of what I love about photography. You can always change things up!

We finished up just as a storm rolled in....it seems to be a trend with my senior sessions!

Thanks again for allowing me the honor! We enjoyed spending a few hours with you.
