Senior: Paducah

A beautiful senior. A beautiful day. A beautiful location.

This is another repeat client and I couldn't be more happy to photograph her senior portraits. As a birthday present she spent the day getting pampered. I believe they started with a hair appointment and facial, followed by an appointment with a makeup artist to perfect her makeup for the day. The ending result is beautiful photographs! I think this is a fabulous ideas for senior girls to feel fabulous for their senior portraits! The look was soft and natural but stunning!

We used a new location and I loved coming up with new ideas. It's part of what I love about photography. You can always change things up!

We finished up just as a storm rolled in....it seems to be a trend with my senior sessions!

Thanks again for allowing me the honor! We enjoyed spending a few hours with you.

SOOOOOO BEHIND

I'm trying to get caught up on blogs tonight so if you are waiting make sure you check in the next day or two! If you are my friend on Facebook you know that we were on vacation for over a week. We enjoyed celebrating with Mike's sister and our new brother in law. They planned a destination wedding on a cruise ship! It was great because we all sailed with them so it was a great vacation. I have a few images to share that will be coming soon I hope.

Let's get down to business here though. This sweet little guy has graced my blog several times already and he is only 3 months old. I photographed him when he was in the womb and an itty bitty newborn! Now's he a whopping 3 months old! This age is interesting because they are smiling a lot for mom and dad but don't pull it out on command! He seemed a little tired on the afternoon of our session but nonetheless we captured sweet images!

YAAAWWWNNN....... (the fresh air just mellowed him out)

Always blowing bubbles!

Love all his little features (eyelashes, nose, lips, chubby cheeks). I could just eat him up!

We had to hang him by his toes but it sure produced the laughs. Boys sure do love rough housing and it starts early.

Enjoy your peek! I'll be in touch soon.

A Long Time Coming

**** THERE IS ANOTHER NEW POST DIRECTLY BELOW THIS ONE! MAKE SURE TO KEEP GOING!

This is a session that has been a long time coming! Several times we have talked about setting up the session but something always seemed to get in the way. However, we persevered and it happened! We enjoyed some beautiful weather on Saturday morning and it couldn't have been more enjoyable!

Both were so cooperative but their is something magical that happens around age 4. She followed all my directions and suggestions beautifully and made my job easy!

I love the light coming through the trees and they both look so angelic.

He was a little unsure at first but I we prevailed captured that little boy wonder and joy.

Wow!!!

I hope your sneak peak was worth waiting for! My offer still stands: 10 comments awards you a complimentary 4x6.

A little glimpse

This little sweetie was precious!!! At three months old she was so expressive...and we had double the fun! We had to do this session due to pesky teeth that were bothering her! It was so fun though!

She even slept for a bit. It was precious!

Don't forget to leave a comment so that they earn their complimentary print!

Family Session

This amazing family is more of our good friends! We have had such an honor to get to photograph this family. The whole family is so much fun and gifted in many ways. We love watching the boys play soccer and their daughter has quite the knack for theater. This is a family that is always willing to serve however they are needed. They are just people you want to be around!

We had to work with the sun on the evening of our session but I think we found some great light!

Just the "kiddos."

One more for good measure. :)

Thanks for a great evening!

Friends

It was such a blessing to see our friends Labor Day weekend! They moved back in March and we miss them greatly. During their visit their 3rd child (of 4) needed his yearly portraits made so I had the honor of capturing those! I didn't think anyone could be more photogenic than his older brother but he might have stolen the thunder. With daddy and Uncle Mike behind me we couldn't keep the smiles away!

It was so great to see you guys! Hope it won't be long before we see you again!

Can't Seem to Keep Up

I just can't seem to catch up! It's a problem I am grateful to have. However, we were able to squeeze this session in on Sunday afternoon because we got a cloudy day. I know their grandma was praying for clouds! We have tried to schedule before but weren't able to swing it. I'm so glad we did this time. I had a blast with all four of these siblings (+ one cousin)!

Leave those comments!

I almost don't have words for the sweetness of this little guy. He was so happy and sweet. We did our session in his yard and I think he ate up being the center of attention! Our session was all about him! He has such a sweet disposition and easy going demeanor despite having to go through his share of challenges.

I feel honored to have the privilege of seeing him each week at church and he never fails to smile! I just love it. I'm not sure I could pick a favorite because all the expressions are just priceless! I'll leave you to see for yourself.....

See, I told you! AND there are SO many more just like this!
