Beautiful Sunset

One of the Christmas presents I decided to ask for was a point and shoot camera I could carry in my purse.  I often feel that I miss photo opportunities because it is just too risky and bulky to carry my big camera around all the time.  As I was driving home this afternoon I captured this beautiful sunset.  It seems like it has been a few days since we have seen blue skies and the sun
so it was a welcome treat despite the chilly temperatures.  Hopefully this will give me the opportunity to share more random pictures with you from time to time.

One Year

This sweet little girl gave me the biggest grin as soon as I stepped out of the car! Unfortunately her big sister woke up sick so she couldn't join us but we still had a great time. She got to model for the whole session and did awesome especially if we kept the treats coming! She isn't quite walking yet so we didn't have to chase her to far....

Here's the face mom wanted to capture the whole session....she kept it hidden till the very end. Those lips are just precious!

So interested in everything...

She decided to take off. Her poor tights were pretty filthy by the time we finished.

Lots of giggles and grins. We had an awesome afternoon to photography...sunny, little wind, pretty mild temps. Amazing for January 2nd!

I think there is just something so classic about this black and white. I love the way mom's hand is there helping her out...

Thanks again for letting me capture her one year portrait. I can't wait to see how she grows up!

Ellie

Ellie is full of spunk, personality, expression, and determination. I LOVE getting to take her photograph and just hang out with her. Thankfully, I get to see her often because her family is part of our church community AND our small group. We love them to pieces and I love these images. She is at the age where she is on the GO and keeps going and going and going. That didn't stop us though we just had to keep up!

Amanda, I hope these help you get through the first day back at school tomorrow after your Christmas break. I wanted you to see them first thing!

How can you resist this face? She didn't give us just tons of smiles but we definitely captured some of her unique expressions which are priceless.

I love her eyelashes and the little pout.....

Hmm...which direction should I go next?

This little highchair was a gift from one of her grandparents. Her mom told me she has loved feeding her baby from it so we decided to get some photographs of it. I just love the look of these...

What next guys?

Thanks again Amanda and Ellie....You were so much fun!
