Kacey and Nathan

Several weeks ago we were privileged to do a very special engagement shoot. Kacey and Nathan are dear to our hearts. We are close with both of their families and have enjoyed watching their relationship develop over the last several months. Their story reminds us a lot of our own and sometimes it is eerily similar! We are so excited to be a part of their celebration in August!

Again it was a little chillier than we had hoped but that didn't stop us. They were so much fun and I think we took as many silly pictures as we did serious. They pretend they don't like the camera but the images below show something very different. The emotion in several of them is incredible!

Hope you enjoy!

Jeremy and Mashanna's Wedding

A little bird told me today that a few people have been anxiously waiting to catch a glimpse of the images of their wedding.  We have been swamped but I stayed up late tonight just to give you a special sneak peak!  I know you are anxious to see all the images and I am working as fast as I can to get them to you.   A beautiful weekend (even though it was a bit chilly....but at least it didn't rain!) allowed us to capture these memorable moments.  Our friend, Philip, graciously joined us for this event since Mike had the pleasure of officiating the ceremony!

Jeremy and Mashanna, thank you for allowing us to participate in this special day.  We had a wonderful experience celebrating your lifelong commitment to each other!

Mallory and the Parker Quads

I had the privilege of getting to meet the Parker quads (yes, you read that right - 4 babies!) I have been praying for Amber and Jeremy for more than a year. We have a mutual friend and I felt like I knew them and hadn't ever met them. We had been waiting for all four babies to come home from the hospital before we attempted this session. Everyone is home so we got to work. Let me tell you they have great help! It took all of us to fit this session in between feedings. We had a great time and kept the vacuum running. (The vacuum kept them sleeping!) As you can see these quads also have an incredible big sister, Mallory. She dotes on them and is a beautiful model herself!

Caden and Copelan

Caden and Copelan were great. From the moment Caden got out of the car he was our best buddy. He was excited to have his picture made and had some great faces for us. He was full of energy, expressive, and alot of fun. Some kiddos are shy but he was ready to play. George (our friendly puppet) came to visit a few times and he LOVED him. Whitni, I hope you like these few. I can't wait to show you all of them!

Caden was soooo sweet with his brother. He was trying to calm him down when he was getting a little hungry. It was precious hearing him talk to his new brother.

Copelan was a month old on Tuesday when we captured these sweet expressions. He was so calm and laid there posing for us.

I love little feet. I know mom and dad will look back on this picture in years to come and wonder how these little boy feet grew into big boy feet!

Chad and Chelsea

The rain came close to keeping us from capturing these pictures on Tuesday, but we perservered and by the time we arrived downtown we just had a few sprinkles here and there. By the time we finished the sun had come out. Chad and Chelsea were alot of fun and were willing to try anything we asked them too. Gavin is supposed to be here in just a few weeks! I'm glad we captured these images when we did!

A few peaks

Here are a few images we have captured in the last few months.

This first one is of precious Ellie and her sweet parents. They are in our small group at church and I could take pictures of her every week. She has the best expressions and never fails to give us a good smile. Even though this day was cold she still gave us some great expressions. Here are a few of my favorites!

Later that morning we captured a few of Brian and Heather as they awaited the birth of Meredith.

I have several more post coming up.....so please check back!
